Elizabeth Griffin
Elizabeth Griffin is Vice President, Commercial Policy & Origination at Rise Light & Power, where she manages the development of large-scale clean energy projects.
Griffin has over a decade of experience in New York’s energy industry. Prior to joining Rise, Griffin was a founding member of Con Edison Transmission, where she led the development of electric transmission projects designed to connect remote renewable generation to customers. Griffin formerly worked for Con Edison’s regulated utility, where she represented the utility in New York’s early offshore wind efforts and led the analysis for the company’s program to reduce heating oil consumption across the City. Before joining Con Edison, Griffin worked in Operations Performance at National Grid, developing and implementing post-merger process improvements across the organization.
Griffin earned an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, an MS from the University of Michigan’s School of Environment and Sustainability, and a BA in English from Georgetown University.
